Addressable Control Panel

TR-75R (red) and TR-75B (black) are intelligent addressable fire alarm control panels (FACP). TR-75 has a single line circuit (SLC) loop for connecting addressable detectors, which can support 75 TRIGA sensors and modules per loop. For TRIGA devices the overall point capacity to a maximum of 150 points per panel.

TR-75 has the interconnection capability for up to 32 panels. The system has two modes of operation, multiple panels covering one larger building, or multiple independent buildings. To network panels together use the TR-NIC network interface card. Copper wire or fiber optic cable panel connectivity can be used within the same networked system.

The TR-75 supports a variety of devices, including TR-RD2R, TR-RD1R remote annunciator, TR-5824 serial/parallel printer interface module (for printing system reports), TR-RPS1 power module, and TRIGA SWIFT wireless devices.

Smoke Detector

Triga’s TR-PHOTO-W Series intelligent plug-in smoke detectors are designed for both performance and aesthetics. TRIGA SMOKE DETECTOR has new modern profile for improved aesthetics. A new modern, sleek, contemporary design and enhanced optical sensing chamber is engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources in accordance with more stringent code standards. Multi Detector

TR-PTIR-W and TR-PTIR-IV are intelligent, multi-criteria detectors that combine photoelectric, thermal, and infrared (PTIR) sensors in one unit to sense multiple components of a fire. This approach enables enhanced sensitivity to real fire with heightened immunity to nuisance particulates.

Multiple sensors and communication can greatly reduce nuisance alarms compared to single sensing methods. Sophisticated algorithms maximize the advantages of all four sensor types creating our best detection strategy o“ering heightened immunity to nuisance particulate and enhanced sensitivity to real fire.

  • Photoelectric sensor detects airborne particles associated with smoke.
  • Thermal sensor detects heat and rate-of-rise (135°F fixed temperature threshold).
  • Infrared sensors discern light patterns in the environment as an additional data point for alarm determination.

This ability to reject certain nuisance alarm triggers, such as theater smoke, supports the use of the detector in applications where moderate to heavy nuisance conditions exist that might cause single sensing detectors to trigger a false alarm.

The PTIR detector meets both UL 268 7th edition and UL 521 listing requirements and can indicate distinct smoke and heat alarms. This dual nature supports a local alarm setting for photoelectric detection and a general evacuation setting based on thermal detection. This can minimize work interruptions in multi-level buildings.

Sounder

These notification appliances offer a wide range of audible devices for life safety notification. Our horns and chimes come with 10 field selectable tone and volume combinations for a wide range of systems. Horns come in two attractive mounting designs, standard and compact. They are intended for indoor applications and approved for wall and ceiling mount installations.

These horns are public mode notification appliances intended to alert occupants of a life safety event. Chimes are private mode notification appliances used to alert trained personnel to investigate possible emergency situations and take appropriate action. Both the horn and the chime are listed to ANSI/UL 464 requirements. These notification appliances are designed to be used in 12 VDC, 24VDC, or 24V FWR (full wave rectified) systems. AV devices can be activated by a compatible Triga fire alarm control panel or power supply. The power from these supplies can be either regulated or coded (pulsing) power supplies. Refer to the appropriate fire alarm control panel manufacturer or power supply for more information. These wall horns and chimes come enabled with System Sensor synchronization protocol which requires connections to a power supply capable of generating the System Sensor synchronization pulses, a FACP NAC output configured to System Sensor synchronization protocol, or the use of MDL (3) module to generate the synchronization protocol.

Sounder with Flasher

TRIGA LED Outdoor platforms offer the most versatile and easy-to-use line of Weatherproof Horns, Horn Strobes, and Strobes that can meet virtually any application requirement, including indoor, outdoor, wet, dry, and washdown environment applications in temperatures from -40°F to151°F.

TRIGA LED Outdoor appliances are NEMA 4X and IP56 rated without having to seal the back box. Additional caulk or sealant are not required on the back box for a faster, cleaner installation. The L-Series platform offers a modern aesthetic across the Indoor and Outdoor platform and design variations across applications: wall or ceiling mount, red or white color choices, LED colored lenses for distinctive visual signaling. In addition, installers can easily adjust appliances through field select able candela, tone, and volume selections using rotary switches. LED technology offers significantly lower current draw compared to older Xenon bulbs across a full candela range. This improves design flexibility for notification appliance circuits (NACs) while also reducing power supply requirements allowing for simpler and lower cost installations. UL listed waterproof wire nuts are provided to make the connection between the field wiring and the mounting plates. Outdoor devices ship with plastic back boxes that accommodate in-and-out wiring for daisy chaining devices. Knock-outs located on the back eliminate the need to drill holes for screw-in mounting.

Beam Detector

The TR-OSI-RI intelligent addressable reflector-type linear optical beam smoke detector is uniquely suited for protecting large open areas with high ceilings, where spot-type smoke detectors are difficult to install and maintain. Ideal applications are warehouses, atriums, aircraft hangers, sporting arenas and concert halls. The beam operates primarily on the principle of light obscuration using infrared. Smoke Detector Spacing: On smooth ceilings, 30-60 feet between projected beams and not more than one-half that spacing between a projected beam and a sidewall. Other spacing may be used depending on the ceiling height, airflow characteristics, and response requirements.

Control/Output Module

The TR-CONTROL is an addressable notification module for use with Triga Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). The TR-CONTROL gives you the flexibility to add notification circuits wherever they are needed on a Triga FACP signaling line circuit (SLC) loop.

The TR-CONTROL provides supervised monitoring of wiring to load devices that require an external power supply to operate, such as bells, horns, and strobes. It is capable of Class B and Class A supervision.

Upon command from the FACP, the TR-CONTROL will disconnect the supervision and connect the external power supply across the load device. The disconnection of the supervision provides a positive indication to the panel that the control relay actually turned on. The external power supply is always relay isolated from the SLC loop so that a trouble condition on the power supply will never interfere with the rest of the system.

INSTALLATION

The TR-CONTROL mounts directly into a 4” square electrical box. The box must have a minimum depth of 2-1/8”. A surface mount electrical box (TR-SMB500) is available from Triga.

Monitor/Input Module

The TR-MONITOR is an addressable monitor module for use with the Triga Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). The TR-MONITOR acts as an interface to contact devices, such as waterflow switches and pull stations.

The TR-MONITOR supports Class A supervised or Class B supervised wiring to the load device. Conventional 4-wire smoke detectors can be monitored for alarm and trouble conditions.

INSTALLATION
The TR-MONITORR mounts directly into a 4” square electrical box. The box must have a minimum depth of 2-1/8”. A surface mount electrical box (TR-SMB500) is available from Triga.

Relay

The TR-RELAY-6 is an addressable relay module for use with Triga Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). The TR-Relay-6 has six Form C relays. It allows a Triga FACP to switch discrete contacts by code command. If needed, you can disable a maximum of three unused modules on the TR-RELAY-6 board. No supervision is provided for the notification appliance circuit.

The TR-RELAY-6 contacts can be used for virtually any normally open or normally closed application. Each TR-RELAY- 6 is programmed with a unique signaling line circuit (SLC) loop address. When an event occurs that controls the TR-RELAY-6, the relay is triggered by the FACP.

INSTALLATION
The TR-RELAY-6 mounts in the Triga TR-IDP-ACB cabinet. The TR-IDP-ACB has a built-in chassis that will a ccommodate one or two TR-RELAY-6 modules.
